Biography

Patrick T. Doyle is corporate vice-president, treasurer and controller of Hughes Electronics Corporation. He was appointed to these positions in July 2000.

Previously, Doyle was vice president of Corporate Development and Taxes. He was appointed vice president, Taxes, October 1996, and was given the added responsibility for Corporate Development in June 1997.

Doyle joined Hughes Electronics in 1992 as director, Taxes after spending ten years with Baker Hughes, an oilfield services company based in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining Baker Hughes, he spent four years with the public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche in Davenport, Iowa.

Doyle is a certified public accountant and is a member of the Tax Executives Institute and the California Taxpayers Association board of directors.

Doyle was born January 3, 1956, in Davenport, Iowa. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame in 1978.

He resides with his family in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.
